An unforgettable experience, we'll journey to the bottom of the world to the extraordinary Falkland Islands and diverse sub-Antarctic islands before sailing further south to the remarkable Antarctic Peninsula.
We'll be traveling in comfort, style even; but not luxury. If your ideal cruise entails tanning on the deck beside a man with a Blackberry clipped to his thong, then this voyage is not for you. If you're looking for an onboard casino, or dress codes demanding formal attire for the evening meal; again, you're out of luck. If you're looking for Adventure, you've hit the jackpot.
We'll be traveling onboard the Akademik Ioffe, a Scandinavian built, ice-strengthened vessel designed for Polar travel. Our days will be filled with zodiac cruising (looking for whales, seals, icebergs, etc.), onshore hikes (to suit all activity levels), and educational lectures in the ship‘s presentation room. We can keep you as busy or as relaxed as you choose, but one thing is certain: Nobody comes back unchanged from a trip to Antarctica. Many have described their visit as a life-altering experience.
